If you choose to add students to your account without an email address, a Registration Code will be generated for them. Students have to use this code to log in to the site for the first time.

In this article we will cover:

How students can use their Registration Code to log in and finish setting up their account

To find out how to generate registration codes, click here.

1: Finding Student Registration Codes

To find your students' registration codes:

Click on your name in the top right-hand corner and select My Classes

Click View Class beside the class whose codes you are looking for, and click on the Students tab - their Registration Code will be displayed beside their name

You can then download a printout of these codes to distribute to your students!

2: Using the Registration Codes

The first time a student logs in to thisisschool.com they should enter their code into the Quick Student Registration box. They will then be asked to create a username and password for themselves.

From then on, they will use their email address and password to log in.

3: How do I know if a student has already registered or not?

If a student has a username in place of a registration code, this means the student in question has successfully logged in and created their account.

This student can now log in with their email address and the password they chose.
